Forgot to push the publish button! Haha good thing I thought to improve my blog at 1am
1. “What have I learned this week?”
As far as scratch goes I have learned a cheat (sort of way) to make one scratch avoid another Scratch. You'll get to see how in class. The problem was you can't have one scratch have two reactions to another scratch based off the same command.
2. “What excited me about the week’s activities and why?”
I was excited to have this project actually work. It was a relief to not keep playing it. It was pretty exciting when my little brother got into the game I made because it is kinda hard (my 13 year old brother is perfect gamer consumer, so perhaps a viable game) #naturallygifted <-- thats a joke
3. “What would I suggest to change if the class was offered in the future?”
I can bring healthy choices for the class!
Reflection about week’s viewing/reading assignment:
4. “What have I learned from the movie/lecture I have seen this week?”
The movie was about the Bonnie Bassier's research with bacteria. I learned about how much bacteria is on or in people and how vital bacteria is for people.

The really wow factor however, was the chemical communication between bacteria, and the existential thinking about how to block communication, as appose to just busting the membrane inorder to destroy harmful bacteria. Talk about people putting really complex chemical stuff on their hands and having no idea (although let me tell you, bacteria will be keeping scientists in business forever because they are ever adapting, so that is one good thing that comes from adaptive bacteria) Also the really interesting part was the marine biologist part. Although I am obviously enthralled in the oceans (last frontier) I it nice to know the scientific branch out that is possible, as I am extremely interested in genetics and human brains. I think the reason you wanted us to watch it, however, was because of the young kid section in it (about all her interns...followed by that slightly creepy comment about how she keeps getting old but the kids stay the same age)
5. “How do I feel about the movie/lecture I have seen this week?”
Loved it. Loved it's brevity (kept my attention). Love thinking about that kind of stuff. I must have told 5 people about the percentage of bacteria living on you or in you. Cool stuff

Week 3
1. “What have I learned this week?”
Don't let ruined plans ruin your day. Communication is key (as corny as that found). I also really analyzed the scratch program and have made a new game!
2. “What excited me about the week’s activities and why?”
I am looking forward to presenting my game.
3. “What would I suggest to change if the class was offered in the future?”
Bring health food instead of just chocolate to the presentation! (Of course the fact that you bring chocolates is already very appreciated! Don't think I am being spoiled, I wouldn't care either way

5. “How do I feel about the movie/lecture I have seen this week?”
It was interesting, although the man reminded me of a full-of-him-self (in a nice way) dad-type character from my mom's favorit sitcom "Modern Family". I think it was a nice thing to do for his kids. To let them know that although he was dyeing he was happy and not suffering so much.

Post in here?
1. “What have I learned this week?”
I have learned about Scratch, a computer programming software that helps you make stories and I have learned how to drive to Belfast, for my Chemistry class.
2. “What excited me about the week’s activities and why?”
That is a presumptuous question, assuming that an assignment has excited me. Well it just so happens that Scratch, although originally not thrilling, ended up being fun. This is only true because I have chosen to write my Scratch story about my littler sister and she really likes to watch it (she is five years old). That was funny. It's hard to bond with your five year old sister.
3. “What would I suggest to change if the class was offered in the future?”
Have the blogs be due on Sunday night. As most assignments are often due on Sundays having the blog be due on Friday through off students schedule.

4. “What have I learned from the movie/lecture I have seen this week?”
The movie was about the creator of Alice, another computer programming software, he had prostate cancer and made an hour long movie about how to live your life from your childhood dreams, based off how he lived his. My childhood dream was to become a princess so I suppose I should book my ticket to England.

Helpful Site
I'm finding this page to be very helpful in walking me through the basic steps of creating sprites, scripts, and scenes. Check it out if you want some tips!
